The Rising Hope Initiative to Provide Free Meals for 1000 Residents in Ikenne, Ogun State

The Rising Hope Initiative, a non-governmental organization committed to community welfare, has announced plans to launch the Ikenne Community Kitchen, offering free breakfast and dinner to 1000 residents in the Ikenne area of Ogun State.

In a press statement released on Friday, the organization revealed that the program aims to alleviate the economic hardship faced by members of the community, providing essential meals to those in need.

Scheduled to commence on Monday, March 4, the phase one of the program will run for three months, with meals served every morning break fast from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. and free dinner from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Alakenne Place, Ogun State. Considering its impact, the initiative may extend for an additional six months.

Mrs. Kemi Soname, the President of The Rising Hope Initiative and wife of Hon. Kunle Soname, President of Remo Stars Football Academy, emphasized the organization’s commitment to community support, citing previous initiatives such as educational support for public schools.
