The Agboyi-Ketu Progressives have demonstrated their unwavering commitment to community welfare with their recent social intervention program, “Ramadan Iizhar Alhubi,” marking the conclusion of Ramadan and Eid El Fitri 2024.

Mr. Oludare Lawanson, a key figure within the group, expressed that extending support to the community during celebrations reflects both a privilege and a responsibility as sons and daughters of Agboyi-Ketu. This initiative follows their successful Easter Outreach celebration earlier in the year.

Lawanson elaborated on the program’s outreach, which included distributing social palliatives to support Muslim members of the Agboyi-Ketu community. Central mosques such as Ajegunle, Tawakalitu, and Oshogun were chosen as strategic distribution points, where representatives of the group engaged mosque communities and shared their objectives.

Mr. Akeem Bakare, another executive of the group, emphasized the collective nature of community progress. He highlighted the positive response from Imams and clerics at the central mosques, who prayed for the group’s members and lauded their efforts. Bakare emphasized that such initiatives transcend politics and underscore the importance of united efforts for progressive community development.

“The Agboyi-Ketu Progressives Initiative,” Bakare stated, “embodies true community leadership and serves as a catalyst for advancement.” He emphasized the significance of collective action in achieving the desired positive changes and developments within the community, echoing the group’s motto, “Agboyi-Ketu Progressives! On Progress We Stand.”
