Ademola Akinremi, the media aide to Hon Femi Saheed, representing Kosofe 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, has stirred a contentious debate by urging constituents to verify the lawmaker’s achievements in less than three years in office.
In an exclusive interview with Kosofe Post on Friday, Akinremi emphasized that Hon Femi Saheed’s accomplishments are not mere political rhetoric but tangible contributions to the welfare and development of the constituency.

“I deliberately waited for two weeks after issuing this challenge for people to verify all the acclaimed achievements of Hon Femi Saheed. But till this moment, there is none,” Akinremi asserted, challenging doubters to substantiate their claims.
Akinremi further invited a comparative analysis between past and incumbent lawmakers, welcoming scrutiny if it is conducted in good faith.
Addressing the recurring narrative surrounding the late Hon Tunde Buraimoh, Akinremi urged for an end to divisive rhetoric, emphasizing that each legislator has their own distinct contributions to governance.
“To settle this once and for all, tell us in actual context how Late Hon Tunde Buraimoh ‘Left a Vacuum’ and how Hon Femi Saheed has not surpassed his predecessor in legislative works, oversight, constituent engagement, and project facilitation,” Akinremi implored.
He pleaded for a resolution to the ongoing discourse, stating, “Let us bring recurring development to a remarkable conclusion for our Late Big Daddy to continue to enjoy peaceful repose without this disturbing noise about him always.”
