Ex-Chief Press Secretary Odufowokan Joins Ikosi-Isheri Chairmanship Race

Former Chief Press Secretary to the late Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, Engr. Abdulfatai Oyesanya, Hon. Odufowokan Abiodun Sunday Oluwaseyi, popularly known as “Speaker,” has officially declared his intention to run for the Chairmanship of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA under Kosofe.

Odufowokan’s campaign gained momentum following the release of his posters across social media platforms. Speaking with Kosofe Post, he affirmed his candidacy, which adds to the growing list of aspirants looking to succeed the outgoing Chairman, Princess Samiat Bada.

Outlining his vision for the council, Odufowokan pledged to deliver on his duty of care and candor if given the mandate. His key priorities include driving collective economic growth, improving education, enhancing healthcare services, and boosting public safety for residents.

A seasoned politician with extensive experience, Odufowokan brings a proven track record of public service to his candidacy. He has held several notable positions, including Special Assistant for Works and Media, Chief Press Secretary to the former Ikosi-Isheri Chairman, and Deputy Chairman of the Revenue Committee, among others.
