Hon. Adetunji Abiodun Adebajo, popularly known as Dudu, has officially picked up his All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination form to contest for the chairmanship position in Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA), ahead of the party’s primary election scheduled for May 10.
Dudu, widely regarded for his commitment to grassroots development and community empowerment, visited the APC State Secretariat on Acme Road, Lagos, to formalize his intention to contest. His presence was met with strong support from party faithful and loyalists, who turned out in large numbers to show solidarity.
With the Lagos State Local Government elections set for July 12, Dudu’s entrance into the race has been described by political observers as a significant development in the build-up to the polls. Supporters say his track record of service and people-centered approach positions him as a strong contender for the APC ticket.
“Dudu represents a vision for transformative leadership in Ikosi-Isheri,” one supporter said. “He’s not just contesting—he’s stepping forward to serve.”
Analysts note that his candidacy could reshape the dynamics of the local contest, injecting fresh energy into the campaign and reinforcing the APC’s base in the area.
As the countdown to the primaries begins, all eyes are on Dudu and the unfolding political landscape in Ikosi-Isheri LCDA.
