It’s a joyful season for the family of Hon. Afolabi Kazeem, popularly known as ABK, former Executive Secretary of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, Kosofe Local Government Area, as the household celebrates a remarkable academic double milestone.

Today, Thursday, July 24, 2025, marks the opening of Babcock University’s 2025 Graduation Ceremony, and the Afolabi family has every reason to beam with pride—both mother and daughter are among this year’s graduands.

The matriarch, Dr. Folasade Afolabi, has successfully earned her PhD in Nursing and will be honored during the Doctoral Hooding Ceremony held at the university amphitheater. Her academic achievement reflects years of dedication to healthcare and scholarship.

Adding even more joy to the moment, the family’s daughter, Adetoun Mutiat Afolabi, will also take center stage at the university’s Convocation Ceremony on Sunday, July 27, 2025, where she will be conferred with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree.

The twin accomplishments are not just a personal triumph for the Afolabis, but a powerful reminder of what perseverance, ambition, and strong family support can yield.

The ceremonies are taking place at Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State.

Congratulations to the Afolabi family on this double academic success—a true celebration of excellence, legacy, and the enduring value of education.
