A respected Islamic cleric and community leader in Ilorin, Alhaji Authentic Solaty, has commended Gabriel Oluwafemi, CEO of Femost Homes and a 2023 House of Assembly aspirant in Kosofe Constituency 1, for his unwavering dedication to community development and interfaith harmony.
The commendation came during a recent gathering at a mosque in Ilorin, where Alhaji Solaty publicly acknowledged Oluwafemi’s continued support for Islamic causes—despite being a Christian.
Recalling Oluwafemi’s involvement during the mosque’s foundation laying, the cleric said:
“Oluwafemi, Amo Gbogbo Igba, Islam ma wun. When we wanted to lay the foundation of this mosque, he came all the way from Lagos to Ilorin. As we prepare to mark one year, here he is again—back at the mosque.”
Describing the real estate developer as a “big man” blessed by God, Alhaji Solaty offered prayers for divine mercy and abundant blessings upon him.
It will be recalled that in 2023, Oluwafemi joined Alhaji Solaty on a lesser Hajj pilgrimage, further cementing his longstanding ties with the Muslim community in Ilorin and beyond.
Although Oluwafemi has yet to declare any political ambition for the 2027 elections, observers point to his philanthropic gestures, grassroots engagement, and cross-faith acceptance as signs of his growing political relevance in Kosofe and the wider Lagos East axis.
