Hon. Adekunle Aderoju Emerges as House Leader, Pledges People-Centered Legislative Agenda in Agboyi-Ketu

Hon. Adekunle Aderoju, councillor representing Ward G in Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has emerged as the Leader of the 6th Legislative Council—a development that has sparked widespread celebration across Kosofe Federal Constituency, Lagos State.

Seen as a step toward deepening people-focused governance, Aderoju’s elevation has drawn commendations from political stakeholders, community leaders, and residents who lauded his calm leadership style and legislative experience.

Among the many voices of support, Oloye Salami Oluwaseun described the appointment as a path to “practical development” for both Agboyi-Ketu LCDA and the larger Kosofe constituency.

Ebenezer Olatunji hailed it as a “well-deserved victory.”

Fatoki Ayobode Kehinde offered a heartfelt “Congratulations, my dear brother.”

Gbenga Osobu called Aderoju “a calm and firm legislator” with the capacity to support Chairman Adetola Adunni’s development agenda.

Bakare Akeem Gbenga wished him “wisdom, strength, and great success.”

In his official statement, Aderoju expressed deep appreciation for the goodwill “My profound appreciation goes to our great media platform, Kosofe Post, and all my leaders and well-wishers that congratulated me on my emergence as the Leader of the 6th Agboyi-Ketu Legislative Council. I say thank you all. Greater heights in all your endeavors.”

As he takes the reins of the legislative arm, many expect Aderoju to prioritize inclusive governance, community development, and enhanced collaboration between the legislature and executive in Agboyi-Ketu.
