Philanthropist, Oloye Oluwaseun Thomas Salami, on Sunday, September 7, 2025, donated the sum of ₦50,000 to KosofePost in support of residents displaced by the recent midnight demolition in Oworonshoki, Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State.
The donation, made via inter-bank transfer to Kasrow Concepts Enterprises, was earmarked as relief support for families and individuals rendered homeless by the exercise carried out under the state government’s urban renewal programme.
KosofePost commended the gesture, describing it as a timely intervention that would help cushion the hardship faced by victims struggling with shelter and other basic necessities.
The contribution, though modest, underscores the growing role of community solidarity in responding to displacement crises, as many affected residents continue to appeal for broader government assistance and humanitarian relief.
