In the Name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds, may the blessings and peace be upon our beloved master Muhammad, the last of Prophets, on his family, and all his companions.

Dear brothers and sisters! There’s a special verse from the noble Qur’an (Surah An-Nisa, 4:45) that states:

“But Allah is most knowing of your enemies; and sufficient is Allah as an ally, and sufficient is Allah as a helper.”

This Qur’anic verse emphasises that Allah has complete knowledge of one’s adversaries, a fact that should be a source of comfort and strength for every Muslim believer. The latter part of the verse serves as a powerful affirmation that Allah is the ultimate protector and supporter, meaning no one needs to fear enemies as long as they have Allah’s guardianship.

For example, the Allah’s saying in the verse:

“But Allah is most knowing of your enemies.”

This part acknowledges that human understanding of one’s enemies is limited, but Allah has perfect and complete knowledge of them, including their intentions and capabilities.

And He the Most High saying:

“And sufficient is Allah as an ally.”

The word “ally” here means protector, guardian, and friend. The verse asserts that Allah’s protection is all that is needed, and it is superior to any other form of defense.

And Allah’s saying:

“And sufficient is Allah as a helper.”

Similarly, “helper” means supporter. This phrase emphasises that Allah is the ultimate source of help and support, and His help is all that is necessary to overcome any difficulties or opposition.

This great Qur’anic verse provides immense reassurance to a Muslim believer facing adversity or opposition. It serves as a reminder that one’s security and well-being are ultimately in Allah’s hands, not in the hands of their enemies. The repetition of “sufficient is Allah” acts as a powerful mantra, reinforcing the believer’s reliance on Allah and mitigating fear of any external threats. Ultimately, the verse encourages a deep sense of trust in Allah, urging the Muslim believer to have faith that He will protect them from those who wish them harm.

Respected brothers and sisters! How beautiful of these great words of Allah!

“And Allah is most Knowing of your enemies, and sufficient is Allah as an ally and sufficient is Allah as a helper.” [Qur’an, 4: 45]

This great Qur’anic verse reminds us that Allah Almighty knows everything, including our enemies, and He is the best protector and helper for Muslim believers.

Sometimes, we get very scared when we find out that certain people don’t like us or certain people are planning to harm us; or they’re talking bad about us or that they’re spreading hateful things about us. Yes, this is scary, but we must learn to depend upon Allah Almighty because if we depend on ourselves, we will get exhausted. We have to learn to depend upon Allah because Allah is sufficient as a Wali, as a friend, as a helper and as a Nasir.

Yes, they can turn people against you but they cannot turn Allah Almighty against you. Don’t be scared of your opponent’s conspiracies. They plan and Allah plan,
And Allah is the best of planners!

Whenever you feel defeated, desperate and alone – recite these great Qur’anic verse:

“And Allah is most knowing of your enemies; and sufficient is Allah as an ally, and sufficient is Allah as a helper.” [Qur’an, 4:45]

Fellow brothers and sisters! Does your heart bleed for the plan of your enemies, or for what’s going on in our blessed country, Nigeria?

Yes, the pain is real but…

Be very careful

With what you consume

The news, the videos and the lies being shared

What you see becomes food for your mind and heart

Remember the battle isn’t just for your body

It’s for your mind

It’s for your soul

It’s to make you feel helpless

It’s to make you feel hopeless

But a Muslim believer never loses hope

Because we believe in the words of Allah

And these are more certain for us than the laws of gravity

When you have Allah with you then there is not even a chance of losing

The only consequence is success

But Shaitan makes you forget this

Because it helps his cause of destroying you

He wants you to lose hope

He wants to instil fear in you

He wants you to think bad thoughts of your Lord

And divert you from the promise of Allah

But you know better

You know this life is a test

You know that the help of Allah is close

You know that with hardship comes ease

You know Allah is the most merciful

And you know that in the end, success is only for the righteous

“Seek Allah’s help and be patient. Indeed, the earth belongs to Allah ˹alone.˺

He grants it to whoever He chooses of His servants.

The ultimate outcome belongs ˹only˺ to the righteous.” [Qur’an 7, 128]

Finally, dear brothers and sisters! Here is another Du’a in the Qur’an for PROTECTION from enemies and all evil people:

“My Lord, save me from the wrongdoing people.”

“رَبِّ نَجِّنِي مِنَ الْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ.”

“Rabbi najjini minal-Qawmiz–Zalimin.” [Surah Al-Qasas, verse 21]

This Du’a can be recited for the following purposes:

● Protection from your enemies and the wrongdoers.

● To overcome oppression and cruelty.

● To seek Allah’s help.

May Allah protect us from trials, both apparent and hidden, and keep us firm upon the Qur’an and the authentic Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).

May Allah Almighty distance us all from any kind of shame and failure, destroy every evil plan against us and our loved ones, protect us from known and unknown enemies, may Allah Almighty support us and our family with His Love, Kindness, Mercy, Blessings and Forgiveness… May we continue to enjoy Allah’s Rahma, Ni’ima and protection till the Day of Judgment, ameen Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum.

Wassalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah wa bara ka tuh

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. Prayers, peace and mercy are upon our beloved master, Muhammad, the son of Abdullah (Peace be upon him), his family and Companions.
