Ahead of his December 19 birthday, former Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, has once again extended a major gesture of goodwill to residents of Greater Kosofe.

Through his NGO, the Mayor Dele Oshinowo Foundation (MDOF), Oshinowo partnered with the three councils under Kosofe to provide **2,000 free health insurance packages** to vulnerable residents, aiming to improve healthcare access and support families facing economic challenges.

The initiative has been widely applauded across the community for its timeliness, generosity, and impact.

Community leaders and beneficiaries have expressed their appreciation. Ganiyu Olamiji Oyebanjo (GOCO) said, “It’s a great and good gesture. May Almighty Allah bless him greatly.”

Omoba Awofeso Rasheed noted, “Great social factors that will impact many community members. Humanity is not about big bank accounts; it’s about passion. Kindness is a global concept without borders. Greater heights to MDO.”

Taiwo Lasisi, President of Ta’awun Humanitarian Forum, Lagos, added, “This guy has arrived again with his jaw-breaking palliative cares. Sir, you are endeared to the heart of the people and ultimately to the Almighty.”

Oloye Salami Oluwaseun described the programme as “a commendable humanitarian gesture,” praying for continued blessings on MDOF.

This latest effort adds to MDOF’s expanding record of community interventions, including previous support for victims of the Oworonshoki demolitions through cash, food, and material palliatives.

Mayor Oshinowo’s consistent outreach continues to earn widespread recognition, with residents celebrating yet another impactful milestone from the former council boss.
