In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
All praise be to Allah, who knows the hidden and the most concealed. Exalted is He, the Lord of the Earth and the high heavens, who brings laughter and tears, life and death, and riches and sufficiency. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship but Allah, alone without any partner, and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, the most faithful Prophet. May Allah exalt him, his family, his companions, and those who are purified.
Dear brothers and sisters! As you all know, the Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has been killed in an attack by Israel and the United States. He was 86.
Iranian state media confirmed the death in the early hours on Sunday after US President Donald Trump said that Khamenei had been killed in a joint US-Israeli air strike that hit his compound on Saturday.
No doubt, the world has not seen a nation more evil than the Jews and their allies. They are the wrathful nation, a people of lies, slander, betrayal, deceit, and tricks, the killers of Prophets and Messengers of Allah, and consumers of unlawful gains. They are the vilest of nations in disposition, the worst in character, the farthest from mercy, and the closest to vengeance. Their custom is hatred, and their practice is enmity and malice. They are the house of sorcery, lies, and tricks. They show no respect to others and disregard any covenant with a Muslim believer.
They have committed every evil deed and violated every sanctity. Among the vilest of their actions is their permissibility of shedding innocent blood by all means, especially that of Prophets and people of justice and righteousness. Allah, The Almighty King says:
“Indeed, those who disbelieve in the signs of Allah and kill the Prophets without right and kill those who order justice among the people, give them glad tidings of a painful punishment. They are the ones whose deeds have become worthless in this world and the Hereafter, and for them, there will be no helpers.” [Ali-Imran: 21-22]
The history of their ancestors is filled with the blood of the innocent, and their record is laden with the killing of the righteous and the Prophets. Whenever Allah sent them a Prophet who opposed their desires, they killed him without hesitation or fear. Allah Almighty said:
“And We certainly gave Musa (Moses) the Scripture and followed up after him with Messengers. And We gave Isa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), clear proofs and supported him with the Pure Spirit. But is it not that every time a Messenger came to you, O Children of Israel, with what your souls did not desire, you were arrogant? And a party of Messengers you denied and another party you killed.” [Al-Baqarah: 87]
They killed Prophets of Allah, Zakariyyah (Zechariah) and Yahaya (John), peace be upon them. In one day, they killed seventy Prophets and then carried on with their market activities as if they had done nothing. They would boast – in the utmost vileness and meanness – that they killed Isa (Jesus), peace be upon him, the Messenger of Allah, but they neither killed him nor crucified him; it only appeared so to them. Allah, the Most High, said:
“And for their breaking of the covenant and their disbelief in the signs of Allah and their killing of the Prophets without right and their saying, ‘Our hearts are wrapped.’ Rather, Allah has sealed them because of their disbelief, so they believe not, except for a few. And for their disbelief and their saying against Maryam (Mary) a great slander, and for their saying, ‘Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Isa (Jesus), the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah.’ And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but another was made to resemble him to them.” [An-Nisa’i: 155-157]
Even though Allah, knowing their satanic souls, explained to them the prohibition of killing innocent souls in the clearest of terms and informed them that killing one innocent soul is equivalent to killing all of humanity, He said:
“Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption done in the land – it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And Our Messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, even after that, throughout the land, were transgressors.” [Al-Ma’idah: 32]
Messengers came to them with clear signs and proofs and forbade them from corruption in the land, but their vile souls only persisted in tyranny. They continued to spread corruption in the land, igniting wars among people, and living off the blood of innocent, peaceful people.
Dear brothers and sisters! These impure souls are filled with intense hatred towards our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Ummah, Allah Almighty said:
“You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers to be the Jews and those who associate others with Allah.” [Al-Ma’idah: 82]
They tried to kill the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) multiple times, even from the time he was an infant. Ibn Sa’ad narrated in his blessed book, Al-Tabaqat Al-Kubrah, from Ishaq Ibn Abdullah Ibn Abi Talha that when the mother of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) handed him over to the Sa’adiyyah who was to nurse him, she said to her: “Take care of my son,” and she told her what she had seen (referring to her dreams and the glad tidings she had received at his birth). A group of Jews passed by her and said: “Will you not tell me about this son of mine, for I carried him in such-and-such a way, and gave birth to him in such-and-such a way, and saw such-and-such as described by his mother?” Then some of them said to others: “Kill him,” but they said: “Is he an orphan?” She replied: “No, this is his father, and I am his mother.” They said: “If he were an orphan, we would have killed him.”
When the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) migrated, they disbelieved in him despite knowing he was the Messenger of Allah, and their slogan was: “His enmity will last as long as we live.” They continued to harbour ill intentions towards him and broke their covenants and agreements, as Allah Almighty said:
“So, for their breaking of the covenant, We cursed them and made their hearts hard. They distort words from their proper usages and have forgotten a portion of that of which they were reminded. And you will still observe deceit among them, except a few of them.” [Al-Ma’idah: 13]
Their attempts to kill the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) through treachery and betrayal were repeated, for they are people of cowardice and baseness, unable to face confrontation because they are the most eager of people for life.
One day, the Jewish tribe of Banu Nadir conspired to betray the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him. They sent a message to the Prophet saying: “Come out to us with thirty of your companions, and we will come out with thirty of our rabbis so that we may meet at such-and-such place and listen to you. If they believe you and accept you, we will all believe in you.” The Prophet (Peace be upon him) set out with thirty of his companions, and thirty rabbis came out to meet him. When they reached an open space, some Jews said to others: “How can you get to him when he has thirty men with him, each of whom would prefer to die before him?” So, they sent a message to him saying: “How can we understand each other and we are sixty men? Come out with three of your companions, and three of our scholars will come out to meet you. If they believe you, we will all believe in you and accept you.”
The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) then went out with three of his companions. The Jews concealed their daggers and intended to assassinate the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him). However, a well-intentioned woman from Banu Nadir sent a warning to her brother, who was a Muslim from the Ansar, informing him of their plan to betray the Prophet. Her brother hurriedly came and informed the Prophet about their plot before he reached them. The Prophet then returned. The next day, the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) set out with his troops and besieged them. [This account is narrated by Abdul Razzaq]
Once again, they attempted betrayal and treachery. Most Islamic scholars of Prophetic biography (Sirah) and military expeditions (Maghazi) narrate that the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) went to the Jews of Banu Nadir to seek their help in paying the blood money for two men from Banu Amir according to the pacts between them. They said, “Yes, O Abu al-Qasim, we will help you with what you seek from us.” However, they privately conspired and said, “You will not find the man in a better position than this.” The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) was sitting beside a wall of one of their houses. They said, “Who will climb up this house and throw a stone on him to kill him and rid us of him?” The news of what they intended reached the Prophet from heaven, so he stood up and left.
They did not stop there. They even crafted a spell to kill the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him), causing him harm until Allah sent two angels to him. One angel sat by his head, and the other by his feet. One said to the other, “What ails the man?” The other replied, “He is under a spell.” The first asked, “Who cast the spell?” The second replied, “The Jew Labid Ibn al-A’sam from Banu Zuraiq.” The first asked, “With what?” The second replied, “With a comb, hair gathered on it, and the spathe of a male date palm.” The first asked, “Where is it?” The second replied, “In the well of Zi Arwan.” [This is narrated in Bukhari and Muslim]
Their treachery extended to putting poison in the food of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). A woman from the Jews of Khaibar did this, intending to kill him. Even their women were like venomous, treacherous snakes. Anas reported that a woman brought a poisoned sheep to the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him). He ate from it, and when she was brought to him, he asked her about it. She said, “I intended to kill you.” [This is narrated in Bukhari and Muslim]
When Abubakar al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) assumed the Caliphate, they continued to harbour malice towards him, eventually poisoning and killing him as well. Ibrahim al-Nakha’i reported that it was believed they poisoned the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and Abubakar. [This is narrated in Musnad of Imam Ahmad]
Dear brothers and sisters! A dark history, starting and seemingly never-ending.
In contemporary history, they have assassinated and treacherously killed innocent people thousands of times. Anyone who stands against their tyranny is killed, even if they are not Muslim. If they are Muslim, the killing is even more savage and brutal. They have sought out promising Muslim scientific cadres in various Muslim countries, killing them in cold blood by any means, taking the lives of dozens of highly capable individuals.
The flow of innocent, pure blood continues to pour out, with international criminal conspiracies involved. It’s no surprise since some of them are allies of others.
Respected brothers and sisters! The crimes and corruption of the Jews have exceeded all limits, reaching the lowest depths of depravity and baseness. Yet, the vilest of the vile are those who, after all these crimes, still call for normalisation with them, assist them, or beautify their image. Anyone who does this is a traitor to Allah, to His Messenger, and to the Muslim believers, and a traitor to every drop of innocent blood, whether it be of children, women, or fighters. Allah the Exalted has spoken decisive, clear words without ambiguity, saying:
“O you who believe, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are in fact allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you – then indeed, he is one of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people.” [Al-Ma’idah: 51]
This is the Qur’anic principle:
“And whoever is an ally to them among you – then indeed, he is one of them.”
Whoever allies with them, assists them, approves of their crimes, and supports them against the Muslim believers, is one of them and a partner in their killing and betrayal, even if he claims to be a Muslim.
Dear brothers and sisters! Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) fell severely ill towards the end of his life. While enduring pain, he said:
“I still feel the effect of the meal I had at Khaibar, and now it is the time when it cuts my aorta.” [Reported by Abu Dawud]
Allah Almighty granted His Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) both prophecy and martyrdom, a gesture of immense honour and dignity. So, what is the story behind this meal?
As mentioned above, a Jewish woman from Khaibar gifted the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) a poisoned sheep. He and his companions ate a little before Allah informed him of the poison. He instructed his companions to stop eating and informed them that Allah revealed its poisoning. Consequently, the companion Bishr Bin Al-Bara died from the poison. The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was affected and suffered until the ailment intensified towards the end of his life. He said during his final illness:
“O Aisha, I still feel the pain caused by the food I ate at Khaibar, and now I feel as if my aorta is being cut from that poison.” [Narrated by Bukhari]
Indeed, the Jews were known for killing Prophets and Messengers of Allah. Allah the Most High says:
“We had taken the covenant of the Children of Israel and sent them Messengers. Every time a Messenger came to them with what their souls did not desire, a group of them they called liars, and another group they killed.”
They are people of treachery and betrayal, breaking pacts and violating covenants. Allah Almighty says:
“Those with whom you made a covenant, then they break their pledge every time, and they do not fear Allah.”
They repeatedly attempted to kill the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and betrayed him and his companions until he expelled them from Madinah.
When the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) migrated to Madinah, there were Jewish tribes like Banu Qainuqa, Banu Nadir, and Banu Quraiza. They collectively disbelieved in the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) out of envy and aggression, despite knowing his truthfulness. Only a few, like Abdullah Bin Salam, embraced Islam. The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) made a pact with the Jews for good neighbourliness and mutual defense of Madinah, not to support the polytheists against him. However, they repeatedly betrayed this pact.
For instance, the Banu Qainuqa dishonourably betrayed the Muslims, stripping a Muslim woman in their marketplace. A zealous companion killed the perpetrator, leading to his own murder. The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) then expelled them from Madinah.
Banu Nadir conspired to kill the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) by dropping a rock on him. Informed by Jibril, he left and later expelled them.
Banu Quraiza broke their covenant during the Battle of the Trench (Khandaq), allying with polytheists against the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). Their fate was death and disgrace, a just verdict from Allah, the Almighty.
Their history always reflected Allah’s words:
“You will always find betrayal in them except a few.”
How could they not betray the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and the Muslim believers when they had already betrayed Allah? He who betrays Allah finds it easy to betray humans, as Allah Almighty says:
“If they seek to betray you, they have already betrayed Allah before, and He empowered you over them.”
They were entrusted with Allah’s Book, His religion, and law, but they distorted the words, bought a small gain with His verses, and altered His religion to please the wealthy and powerful.
Their treachery, theft, and looting are evident. They stole lands, wealth, even the skins of prisoners and organs of the deceased, and kidnapped infants. How vile are these treacherous thieves!
Respected brothers and sisters! One might wonder, why has betrayal and treachery become inherent in these people?
The Jews consider themselves Allah’s children and beloved, the chosen people, viewing others as unworthy of life. They believe deceiving or killing others is justified as they lack the honour of being Jewish. As Allah the Most High says:
“Among the People of the Scripture is he who, if entrusted with a great amount of wealth, will return it to you. Yet among them is he who, if entrusted with a single silver coin, will not return it unless you are constantly standing over him.”
They base their mass extermination on their corrupted Torah, falsely attributing to Allah commands to burn cities, kill all inhabitants, even infants and animals, and destroy everything.
They believe that no matter their deeds, Allah will forgive them. Their rabbis sell the Hereafter for worldly gains, altering Allah’s religion to please the wealthy and powerful, falsely claiming Allah will forgive them. Allah Almighty says:
“And there followed them successors who inherited the Scripture while taking the commodities of this lower life and saying, “It will be forgiven for us.” And if an offer like it comes to them, they will again take it. Was not the covenant of the Scripture taken from them that they would not say about Allah except the truth, and they studied what was in it? And the home of the Hereafter is better for those who fear Allah, so will you not use reason?”
They expect Allah’s punishment to be brief, believing they will be forgiven regardless of their crimes. Allah Almighty says:
“That is because they say, ‘The Fire will not touch us except for a few numbered days,’ and because they were deluded in their religion by what they were inventing. So how will it be when We assemble them for a Day about which there is no doubt? And each soul will be compensated in full for what it earned, and they will not be wronged.”
Deceived by their fabrications against Allah, fear has been removed from their hearts, replaced by false hopes and beliefs, making them a distorted nation among others, known only for treachery and theft, even against the living and the dead.
Woe to those misled by their hearts and hypocrites who trust them! Woe to those seeking honour and empowerment through alliance with them!
“Allah may bring victory or a decree from Him, causing them to regret what they kept in their hearts.”
Dear servants of Allah! Know that, Allah is just, compassionate, and merciful, commanding justice and integrity, forbidding injustice and treachery.
Our beloved Prophet, Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was the most faithful, even to his enemies. Huzaifah Bin Al-Yaman said:
“I was prevented from participating in Badr because when my father and I set out, Quraish captured us. They suspected we were heading to Muhammad. We said we only wanted to go to Madinah. They took a pledge from us not to fight with him. When we reached the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and told him, he said, ‘Go back, we will fulfill their pledge, and we will seek Allah’s help against them.’”
Such was the Prophet (Peace be upon him) – truthful, trustworthy, and loyal, who knew neither deceit nor treachery. He instructed his conquering army:
“Fight in the name of Allah, against those who disbelieve in Allah. Fight, but do not cheat, betray, mutilate, or kill a child.”
His sincere followers spread these values worldwide, bringing Islam’s message through their integrity and loyalty.
The contrast is stark between those who protect their enemies’ captives, returning them unharmed, and those who release tortured, exhausted captives or deliver their bodies mutilated and skinned.
Respected brothers and sisters! Have you heard about the devil of Quraish? Indeed, it was Umair Ibn Wahb al-Jumahiy. He was a disbeliever who fought against the Muslims during the Battle of Badr, and his son was taken captive in the hands of the Muslims. Later, he conspired with Safwan Ibn Umayyah to go to Madinah with the intention of deceitfully assassinating the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).
When Umar Ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, saw Umair brandishing his sword, he was alarmed and shouted, “This is the enemy of Allah who provoked us on the Day of Badr and incited the people against us.” He then ordered the Companions to be vigilant and cautious of him, ensuring that he would not harm or plot against the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).
When Umair entered the presence of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him), the Prophet (Peace be upon him) informed him of the true reason for his visit and the agreement with Safwan to kill him (Peace be upon him). At that very moment, Umair realised that the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was a truthful Messenger who received revelation from Allah, and as a result, Umair declared his faith in Allah.
When Umar Ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, saw him embracing Islam, he was delighted and exclaimed:
“By the One in whose hand is my soul, I hated Umair more than I hated a pig, when he came to us intending to kill the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). But now. I love him more than I love some of my own children.” [Narrated by At-Tabarani]
What is the secret behind this shift in the stance of Umar Ibn al-Khattab regarding Umair, and how would an enemy become a beloved ally merely by embracing faith?
One finds no expression to describe the relationship between a sincere servant and his Lord, as Allah, the Most High, eloquently describes it in His Qur’anic verse:
“He loves them, and they love Him.” [Qurʾan, 5:54]
The love of Allah is the foundation and essence of faith. A true Muslim believer is one who recognises Allah and acknowledges His perfection, beauty, and majesty. A true Muslim believer is one whose heart is filled with love, reverence, and devoted servitude to Him. This profound love inspires obedience to His commands and wholehearted submission to His divine will.
The love of Allah is not a claim uttered with the tongue; rather, it is a feeling and a consciousness that captivates the heart, allowing the Muslim believer to savour the taste of happiness through faith, as the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said:
“There are three qualities which, if they are found in any person, shall cause him to experience the sweetness of faith: that Allah and His Messenger are more beloved to him than anything else; that he loves a person only for Allah’s sake; and that he would hate to return to disbelief after Allah had saved him from, just as he would hate to be thrown into fire.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
Indeed, these are the three components of happiness: love of Allah and His Messenger (Peace be upon him), love for the sake of Allah, and loathing disbelief in Allah. True love of Allah cannot be attained without these components.
Dear servants of Allah!
“Be patient, mother! Verily, you are following the truth!”
These were the miraculous words of baby carried by his believing mother, who was being mercilessly pushed by the king’s soldiers into the fire. The woman looked at her baby and was moved by her compassion as if she was being somewhat hesitant of falling into the fire; Allah made her baby to speak to boost his mother’s steadfastness. He said: “Be patient, mother! Verily, you are following the truth!”
The heinous torture of the Muslim believers was ordered by the oppressive king as our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) informed us when he related the story of the People of al-Ukhdud (the Ditch).
These criminals’ hearts did not move for this poor woman and her child, and they mercilessly threw her into the fire, and did the same with all the Muslim believers because they adhered to their faith and defiantly refused to compromise.
It is true that we did not witness this incident first-hand, and did not see the flames devouring the mother’s lean body and her little baby, but today, we are witnessing a more horrific incident as we see thousands of the Muslim believers’ children and women get massacred, their homes are attacked and demolished, their bodies are burned, their blood is ruthlessly shed in full view of the whole world, and the massacre continues; why has not the so-called ‘free world’ moved yet? What kind of world is this?
The Jews are killing our brothers and sisters and the major countries of the world shamelessly provide them with soldiers, money, and weapons! They approve of their war crimes and encourage them as if saying to them: “Go ahead, annihilate them; it is your right! They are mere human animals!”
Where are the so-called human rights, international treaties, and the imagined justice?
For so long, many Muslims have been deceived by their false slogans and rhetoric about the alleged human rights, freedom, equality, coexistence, and acceptance of the other!
As we see the latest Israeli Holocaust against the Palestinians and the killing of Iranian’s spiritual leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei unfold before our very eyes, it exposed these lies and the fake mask of the West fell off! We got to see the real face of the Westerns that has been hidden by the tailored narratives in the media and the propaganda machine screams. Are these really the ones who once looked so glamorous?
We used to see them rushing to save a cat stuck in a tree, and we read in their newspapers about sheltering stray puppies or treating sick dogs, and some of us applaud in admiration on seeing this outstanding compassion and kindness, prompting some of us to say:
“I went to the West and saw Islam, but no Muslims!”
How odd! Why do they not move now to save these innocent lives in Palestine, Iran, Lebanon, etc? How come they approve of this brutality and provide them with money, soldiers, and war equipment?
We used to believe that they fostered freedom of expression, journalistic professional practices, and hear about their calls for the so-called “tolerance and coexistence.”
What has changed? Why do they hinder the establishment of justice and defence of the oppressed? Why do they silence the voices of justice, promote fake news, fabricate lies, and distort the facts?
Respected servants of Allah! Indeed, Allah revealed to us the truth by His power and knowledge; He is All-Knowing of our enemies. He spoke truth when He said:
“And Allah is most knowing of your enemies; and sufficient is Allah as an ally, and sufficient is Allah as a helper.” [Qur’an, 4:45]
He unveiled to us the reality of the conflict and edified us on our true enemy when He said:
“Indeed, the disbelievers are ever to you a clear enemy.” [Qur’an, 4:101]
As long as you are a Muslim believer, you believe in Allah, His books, and His Messengers, you are their sworn enemy. Your crime is your adherence to Islam; were you to give it up, wallahi their hostility will end. Allah Almighty says:
“And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy.” [Qur’an, 85:8]
He also says:
“And never will the Jews or the Christians approve of you until you follow their religion.” [Qur’an, 2:120]
This has always been the case. The underlying reason of their hostility is that we chose to believe in Allah alone without associating partners to Him in worship and abide by His Shari’ah. Our fault is that we adhere to the truth and righteousness, and reject falsehood and immorality. Allah the Most High says:
“Say, ‘O People of the Scripture, do you resent us except for the fact that we have believed in Allah and what was revealed to us and what was revealed before, and because most of you are defiantly disobedient?'” [Qur’an, 5:59]
Allah informed us about the root of their hostility towards us and clarified the underlying reason for it so that we are not deceived by their claims of love. He informed us that their hearts can never harbour true love for the people of faith, but are rather filled with hatred and hostility towards us. Allah Almighty says:
“O you who believe, do not take as intimates those other than yourselves, for they will not spare you any ruin. They wish you would have hardship. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater. We have made clear to you the signs, if you will use reason. Here you are loving them but they are not loving you, while you believe in the Scripture – all of it. And when they meet you, they say, ‘We believe.’ But when they are alone, they bite their fingertips at you in rage. Say, ‘Die in your rage. Indeed, Allah is knowing of that within the breasts. If good touches you, it distresses them; but if harm strikes you, they rejoice at it. And if you are patient and fear Allah, their plot will not harm you at all. Indeed, Allah is encompassing of what they do.'” [Qur’an, 3:118-120]
The forefathers of these transgressors, including the Zionist Jews and the Cross-bearers with their black clothes and hardened hearts, had distorted the Book of Allah, changed His laws, and disbelieved in His Messengers. They claimed to be the sons of Allah and His loved ones, and this entailed being closer to Him than others, despite their disbelief and transgressions! When Allah sent His Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) to convey His true religion, uphold the just and guiding Shari’ah, and they verified his truthfulness and Prophethood, they envied him and hated those who followed his religion. Allah Almighty says:
“Many of the People of the Scripture wish they could turn you back to disbelief after you have believed, out of envy from themselves even after the truth has become clear to them.” [Qur’an, 2:109]
They traded their religion for worldly gains, chose misguidance over guidance, exchanged Allah’s forgiveness for His punishment! They displayed hostility toward Islam and wished for the Muslims to be misguided. Allah Almighty says:
“Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Scripture, who purchase error in exchange for it and wish you would lose the way?” [Qur’an, 4:44]
That is why they have always been waiting for the chance to annihilate the people of Islam and they do not unite forces except for that aim; Allah Almighty says:
“Those who disbelieve wish that you would neglect your weapons and your baggage so they could come down upon you in one single attack.” [Qur’an, 4:102]
Indeed, the disbelievers will always harbour hostility toward us and this will not change unless we give in and disbelieve in Allah, approve of their falsehood, and lose the worldly life and the Hereafter! They will only be satisfied if we follow their religion and misguidance, approve of their immoral acts and practices that go against the sound human nature. They will only approve of us if we take off the cloak of sound belief and righteousness and wear that of wickedness and immorality. They want us to accept oppression, the usurpation of people’s wealth, the imposition of their hegemony over other nations and humiliating them. They want us to see eye to eye; to think like them and choose their preferences. They want us to blindly follow them without question and give up our sound human nature and true religion.
Undoubtedly, Allah will disgrace them, frustrate their schemes, uphold His word and His religion, bless His servants with victory over them by His grace and power. Allah will surely perfect His light, even if the disbelievers dislike it. Verily, to Allah belongs all honour, and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know.
Dear servants of Allah! We have learned the lesson and everything has become crystal clear for those who truly seek the truth. The fake masks have fallen off; there are no human rights. These are mere empty slogans promoted to deceive lay people, but when things get serious, they do not shy away from exposing their inner wickedness, but most people do not ponder!
It is incumbent upon Muslim believers to recognise the reality of the conflict with the disbelievers, and understand that their feelings of hostility and love must be informed by the teachings of their religion. They are enjoined to bear allegiance to the believers and disassociate themselves from the disbelievers, especially at such time when many Muslims have sadly lost their way and failed to adhere to the sound belief of al-Wala wal-Bara’.
Indeed, Allah enjoined us to love the people of faith and take them as allies and to hate and disassociate ourselves from the people of polytheism and disbelief. He says about the Muslim believers:
“Your ally is none but Allah and therefore His Messenger and those who have believed – those who establish prayer and give zakah, and they bow in worship and obedience. And whoever is an ally of Allah and His Messenger and those who have believed – indeed, the party of Allah – they will be the predominant.” [Qur’an, 5:55-56]
He says about the disbelievers:
“O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are in fact allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you – then indeed, he is one of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people.” [Qur’an, 5:51]
Even if the disbeliever is a close relative, a Muslim is enjoined to hate his adherence to false religions and should not love him more than his fellow Muslim brothers. Allah Almighty says:
“You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred. Those – He has decreed within their hearts faith and supported them with spirit from Him. And We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him – those are the party of Allah. Unquestionably, the party of Allah – they are the successful.” [Qur’an, 58:22]
The principle of al-Wala wal-Bara’ is one of the great pillars of faith, without which a person’s faith is not perfected. As the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said:
“Whoever loves, hates, gives, and withholds for the sake of Allah, has indeed perfected his faith.” [Abu Dawud]
May Allah support Islam and honour Muslims, destroy the criminals, comfort the hearts of the Mujahidin in His cause, save His oppressed servants, and raise the banner of religion. May Allah guide our leaders to what He loves and approves, guiding them to righteousness and piety. Our Lord, grant us good in this world and the Hereafter and save us from the torment of the fire.
May Allah accept our fasting and good deeds in this noble month of Ramadan, ameen.
