Tributes have continued to pour in from political associates, community leaders, and well-wishers following the death of prominent Kwara politician, Kunle Sulyman, with many describing him as a devoted public servant whose legacy will endure.
Sulyman’s passing was earlier reported by KosofePost, drawing widespread reactions from friends, political figures, and admirers who expressed condolences to his son, Olayiwola Sulyman, popularly known as Opomulero, and the entire Sulyman family.
Among those who mourned the elder statesman was AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, who described the late legal practitioner and politician as a respected figure whose contributions to politics and public service would not be forgotten.
In separate condolence messages, associates and community members prayed for the repose of the deceased and strength for the family to bear the loss.
One of the messages signed by Africa read:
“God will give you the fortitude to bear the loss. May his soul rest in perfect peace.”
Another condolence message from Prince Moy also prayed for eternal rest for the late statesman, while Oloye Salami Oluwaseun prayed that Allah grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus.
Similarly, Temitope Adelaja (Toyas) urged the family to remain strong during the difficult period, praying that God would grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. Gbenga Osobu also extended condolences, praying that Allah grant the deceased eternal rest.
Omoba Awofeso Rasheed prayed that Allah forgive the shortcomings of the late politician and grant him peace in the grave.
In its official statement, the Management and Editorial Team of KosofePost expressed deep sympathy to Opomulero and the Sulyman family, describing the late Barrister as an elder statesman whose life was defined by service, wisdom, and dedication to society.
The statement noted that although his passing created a painful void, his contributions to politics and public life would remain worthy of honour and remembrance.
Also reacting, Engr. Olusola Emmanuel Adedayo, Publisher of MOSCHINOBLOG, extended condolences to the family, noting that the loss occurred during the holy month of Ramadan and praying for divine comfort for the bereaved.
In another tribute, Jegede Oyekunle Sunday of the JOYS Movement described the late Sulyman as an impactful figure whose legacy would continue through the values he instilled in others.
“His passing leaves a void, but his influence will continue to inspire us,” he said.
Similarly, Tunde Shoneye urged the family to remain strong, praying that God grant the deceased eternal rest and the family the strength to bear the loss.
Adding his voice, Yakub Babatunde Ajadi described the late Barrister as a loyal stalwart whose contributions to the growth and unity of the All Progressives Congress (APC) would remain unforgettable.
According to him, Sulyman was known for his principled leadership, mentorship of emerging political figures, and dedication to strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
Other sympathisers, including Taiwo Lasisi, President of the Ta’awunu Humanitarian Forum, and Daniyan Oluwashola, also expressed heartfelt condolences to Opomulero, urging him to take solace in the impactful life and legacy left behind by his father.
Barrister Kunle Sulyman was widely regarded as a respected legal practitioner, politician, and community leader whose contributions to public service and party development left a lasting mark on those who worked with him.
