Aina Olayinka Abigeal, who is contesting under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has obtained her Expression of Interest and Nomination forms, formally declaring her intention to vie for the House of Representatives seat.
Her entry into the contest has begun to attract support within party ranks. Notably, Bushira Alebiosu, alongside other APC chieftains, has endorsed her aspiration—an early development seen as strengthening her position within the party’s internal dynamics.
Political observers note that Abigeal’s emergence adds a fresh layer to an already expanding field of aspirants, as interest in the Kosofe Federal Constituency seat continues to grow.
With more contenders stepping forward and alignments gradually taking shape, the race is expected to intensify in the lead-up to party primaries.
