Ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election scheduled for tomorrow, frontline House of Representatives aspirant for Kosofe Federal Constituency, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, has called on party loyalists and supporters to remain steadfast, courageous, and united as they prepare to cast their votes.
In a statement released on Friday, Oshinowo urged APC members across Kosofe to mobilise massively and participate actively in the direct primary election approved by the party leadership.
According to him, the party leadership has made it clear that the primary election will be conducted through a direct voting process, stressing that members must “speak loudly with their votes.”
The former Agboyi-Ketu LCDA chairman encouraged supporters to go to their designated voting centres and support his aspiration to represent Kosofe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
He also appealed to party members not to give in to intimidation, fear, or external pressure during the exercise, urging them to remain peaceful while ensuring that every vote is protected and counted.
“Stand your ground confidently. Stay with your vote and ensure every single vote is counted. Do not allow anyone intimidate or instill fear in you,” Oshinowo stated.
The aspirant expressed confidence in the readiness and commitment of his supporters ahead of the contest, declaring that the outcome of the exercise would reflect the collective will of APC members across the constituency.
“Kosofe decides tomorrow,” he added, while reaffirming his campaign message of “Stronger Representation; Stronger Kosofe.”
Political observers note that the APC primary election for the Kosofe Federal Constituency seat is expected to be highly competitive, with several aspirants intensifying consultations and grassroots mobilisation ahead of the exercise.
