The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially confirmed the former Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, as the party’s flagbearer for the Kosofe Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The announcement was made by the Lagos State APC Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, Monday, May 25 Publication in the Nation Newspaper.
It would be recalled that KosofePost’s earlier reported that Oshinowo emerged winner of the recently concluded House of Representatives primary election after polling a total of 18,614 votes.
The APC five aspirants contested the primary for the Kosofe Federal Constituency ticket. They include former Lagos State Commissioner for Wealth Creation, Mrs Yetunde Arobieke; the incumbent lawmaker, Mrs Kafilat Ogbara; Mayor Dele Oshinowo; Mrs Oluremi Odunsi; and Mrs Aina Olayinka Abigeal.
The document signed by Ojelabi validated earlier reported that Oshinowo defeated other contenders in a landslide victory, securing the highest number of votes across the constituency.
