The All Progressives Congress (APC) has cleared five Kosofe aspirants for House of Representatives primaries.
The five aspirants will participate in the party’s House of Representatives primary election on Friday.

The state APC Publicity Secretary, Dan Morgan-Ihomun, said this when he spoke with journalists on Monday in Makurdi, the state capital.
According to the aspirants’ cleared list sighted on Wednesday by KosofePost, the incumbent lawmaker, Honourable Rotimi Agunsoye, and former two-termer member of the House of Reps, Yacoob Ekundayo Alebiosu, were among the contestants who scaled through.
Others include Abiodun Owokoya Mayowa Aka Cheche, Remi Odunsi Oluwagbon, and Kafilat Adetola Ogbara, respectively.
The recently elected 5 delegates per ward and LGA delegate, among others, will take part in the primaries on Friday to determine the ultimate flagbearer of the party among five contestants.
Meanwhile, there’s anxiety among the contestants who do not yet know the authentic delegates that could reach out to them ahead of the election.
KosofePost reports that aggrieved members of the All Progresives Congress from Kosofe stormed the party secretariat in Acme, Ikeja on Wednesday to protest against an alleged attempt to impose consensus delegates after winners had emerged through ward congresses.
