Many members across the major political parties in Kosofe have continued to laments as candidates allegedly shift spending to the Yuletide season to avoid double expenditure as election day approaches.
The Kosofe Post gathers that some candidates, in an attempt to prevent giving incentives greater than the amount budgeted, stylishly shifted the full electioneering campaign to the third week in December.
A source who lamented over the social and economic hardship told the Kosofe Post that most of the candidates have suspended engaging the people to avoid spending too early before the election.
He added that they now focus on social networking platforms such as Facebook, Whatsapp, YouTube, and others to market their product.
Another source said he cannot continue to spend his hard-earned resources on some unappreciative candidates in the name of the party.
