Commuters and motorists in Kosofe, Lagos, are experiencing a welcome respite as Hon. Moyosore Ogunlewe, Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, has launched a comprehensive road intervention project to address the deplorable conditions of major thoroughfares in the area.
Prior to this recent initiative, residents had been grappling with the deteriorating state of roads, prompting concerns and frustrations among the community. Streets like Sunmola Street, Adebowale/Salami Street, and other critical sections throughout Kosofe were particularly affected, prompting calls for urgent action.
In response to the pressing issue, Hon. Moyosore Ogunlewe swiftly mobilized both manpower and resources to undertake the necessary road maintenance work. Employing the use of asphalt, the intervention commenced with a focus on Sunmola Street and Adebowale/Salami Street, key locations in the community that were significantly impacted by the road degradation.
The move has been met with immense relief from the local population, as Kosofe residents now witness tangible improvements on their daily commute. The rehabilitation work promises to enhance road conditions and contribute to the overall convenience and safety of both commuters and motorists.
