Community leader Mogaji Wole Arisekola has pledged to safeguard Indigenous Fulani settlers following a violent attack by hoodlums. The assault, which took place in Ayaba village, left many displaced and instilled fear among the residents.

“I always feel sad when some hoodlums take the law into their own hands to attack innocent people who have been living with us for so many years,” Mogaji Arisekola expressed, condemning the recent surge in reprisal attacks as acts of terrorism. He emphasized the need for government intervention to protect the Indigenous Fulani, who have coexisted with the local population for over two centuries.

Addressing the head of the Indigenous Fulani in Igboora, Alhaji Umoru Yaro, Arisekola assured that such incidents would not recur. He committed to personally visiting the affected area to provide relief to the displaced families, demonstrating his dedication to restoring peace and security in the community.
