The administration of Gov. Babajide Sanwoolu awarded the trio of Demurin, Agidi, Church road worth of over 1 Billion in Agboyi Ketu Lcda , under Kosofe Local Government to the duo of Retro , Regency construction companies.
Each of the project is expect to be delivered between 9, 12, and 14 months according to the signpost at the various project site.
A special visit on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, A team of personnel were seen serving demolition notice to the property owners in large number wearing orange reflective jackets.
One of the contractor RETRO workyard along demurin visited, where various heavy duty equipments for the full scale construction work revealed that the contractor has been fully mobilised to the site.
A Retro representative that spoke to Kosofe Post under condition of anonymity said there is no cause for worry that the project will fully commence in two weeks at the time.
The Lagos State Public Works Corporation (LSPWC) were seen fixing different failed road sections around Ketu alapere axis.
Kosofe Post also gathered that there were other ongoing road construction embarked upon by the state government in Agboyi Ketu.
Findings by expert revealed that about $16M Estimated to Fix Roads In Agboyi Ketu while other reports it will require more than the said amount to fix the roads.
