Retired or Serving civil servants, Bankrolling Politicians In Nigeria

During the government of Alh. Shehu Shagari in the Second Republic, the largest money contributed to the National Party of Nigeria (1979-1983) came from Alh. Ishaku Ibrahim, Chief MKO Abiola, Alh. Abdul Azeez Arisekola Alao and Athur Eze. All of them were businessmen.

Today, those bankrolling political parties are either retired or serving civil servants and politicians.

It’s only in Nigeria that someone who has never been a successful businessman or comes from a rich family will retire as a civil servant today and the next thing, bankroll an election with billions of Naira under the Nose of the GO of integrity and no one will ask question.

Even some civil servants who see themselves as ‘born to rule’ are sponsoring political parties while still in service.

Who will ask them? After all, their kinsmen are the commander in thief!

My major problem is with Nigerian Youths whose future is being carted away by these evil oppressors. They are the ones defending and shouting ‘ARISE SIR’ to them. What a wasted life!

They always tell them that the future belongs to them. NAH, no future for the children of the oppressed.

They enslaved their fathers, now their children are enslaving them and their unborn children will enslave the children of these oppressed people.

It’s a generational curse. Only deliverance can save them.

My name is Wole Arisekola and I’m in my village. If you like, go and hug a transformer..you will just die for nothing.
