The Ikosi Isheri chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC LGA officers has declined to endorse the incumbent Council Chair, Samiat Abolanle Bada expression of interest and nomination forms.
Samiat is one of the contestants who stormed the Party State Secretariat, Ikeja to pick her forms today ahead of the party Local Government primary Election slated for May 29, 2021.
Kosofe Post learnt that Ikosi Isheri LGA Chairman, Loogun Oyekunle Sunday Jegede Deputy Chairman, Seyi Odufowokan, General secretary, Ayodele Oyesanya and other officers rejected her forms for reasons yet to be ascertained at the time of posting this report.
Another source hinted Kosofe Post that since council chairman came on board over a year there has being frosty relationship between her, and the party Executives.
All progressives Congress and Governor’s Advisory Council, GAC Leader in Lagos East senatorial District, Otunba Bushira Alebiosu gathered intervened between LGA officers and the council.
However, the outcomes of the meeting was yet to made known as at 4:3Pm.
