The All Progressives Congress area of Kosofe, Lagos State Chairmanship aspirant, Moyo Ogunlewe has assured residents of the Council of good Governance as he declared his ambition in ground style.
“I am aware of the enormity of the task, duties and responsibilities of the Office of the Local Government Area Council Chairman. I am also aware of the desire of our people to have or install a real people’s government at the Local Government Area level or the grassroots.”
This was made known to the public at the declaration event held at the APC’s Local Government area Secretariat, Ojota yesterday.
Speaking at the event, Moyo said he was joining the race to provide a purposeful leadership and good Governance to the good people of Kosofe.
“Indeed, the demands and challenges of our contemporary life as well as the search for development, call for united action among the people as well as resolute stand and action by our people.”
He also stated that he believes in the spirit of “politics without bitterness”, and also promise not to be guilty of hate speech, foul language or sordid utterances, as he has promise to be an exemplary aspirant and a good ambassador of our popular Party.
The party Chairman, Alhaji Kehinde Belo commended Moyo ogunlewe over his good plans for the people of Kosofe Local Government. He urged him if elected to fast track Fire Service station construction proposed for Oworonshoki.
Bello, further enjoined Moyo to strengthen security around the Local government when elected.
He urged the chairmanship aspirant to be a promise Keeper when elected and shun unhealthy politics towards achieving his ambition.
