Gbenga David’s on the match again for Anthony Village Councilorship

The graduate of the Lagos State University, Gbenga David has joined Councilorship race for Anthony Village, area of Kosofe Local Government.

David’s hail from the same Ward with All Progressives Congress, APC and Governor’s Advisory Council ( Lagos East) Leader; his choice as the preferred candidate was replaced by the kingmakers at the time in 2017.

He’s also from the same ward with two terms member of House of Representatives, representing Kosofe Federal Constituency Honourable Dayo Alebiosu.

Aftermath of 2017 Local Government Election he was considered for Supervisory Councilor position by Governor Akinwumi Ambode, He, however, was also rejected after successfully completing state Government sponsored supervisory trainings among others ahead of his swearing ceremony.

The APC’s political power play at the time totally denied Anthony Village supervisory position while other wards are having two (2) slots.

According to a reliable source, Gbenga will be picking his nomination and expression of interest forms in the next few days to challenge the first term incumbent lawmaker, representing Anthony Village, Honourable Idowu Oluloro if consensus arrangement failed.
