Capitalflight ‘ll not make a community to Develop- Says GCM Imam Sammi
The Imam of Gbagada Central Mosque area of Lagos East Senatorial District, AbdSamii Ibrahim has said Capitalflight by local government will not make a community to develop.
He made the remarks during Friday Jumat service held on August 13.
While speaking on the new Islamic year and the important of Islamic months he said many left their place of birth without looking backward.

He said the migration embarked by prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was purposeful and impactful. He added many people left their parents, villages journeyed to other places without looking back and become irresponsible to their family and community.
He urged congregation not to forget their community and their parents who did all what’s necessary for them to become they are today home and abroad.
He further noted that a particular local government Chairman in Bariga during electioneering campaigns seek people’s supports and endorsement.
However, when he emerged victorious and becomes successful rather than building his house in Bariga he went all the way to Lekki to build his mansion.
“I remember one Local Government Chairman wailing all-over the community appealing for votes during Local Government Elections immediately after recording a success he did not build his house in Bariga he went to build mansion in lekki where he didn’t get he people’s mandate,” Imam Samii Ibrahim stated.
He said such an office holders are not developing the community they garnered peoples votes to develop other areas.
