Kosofe Local Government All Progressives Chieftaincy and Member of Governor’s Advisory Council, Omoba Olumuyiwa Sosanya has Counselled APC members ahead of LGA Congresses

While speaking at the 7th Annual Constituency Stakeholders Meeting host by Lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency 1, Hon. Sanni Okanlawon made the counsel.

The veteran Politician who commended the lawmaker for his quality representation within short period also used the occasion to speak on the worrisome political development in Kosofe. He emphasised on returning the party to it’s winning ways by focusing more on 10- Members Polling Booth Committee with the required executives. He stressed the committee will Help in identifying the voting public and halt voters apathy in the future among others.

However, He emplored the party faithful to accept the outocmes of the recent concluded ward Congresses. He said the excercise was carried out in the 20 Local Government areas in compliance with the party National Headquarters directives. Omoba Olumuyiwa assured party members that Lcda arrangement will be revisited in due course to accommodate others.

He decried Politicians who wanted to be ward, LGA Executives and equally get appointive position at the Local Government level.

In his words, “In the past Administration it’s the same person that was Ward Executive Chairman and Supervisory Councilor. is there no more party member?” He added” There are several party members and that era has gone where a single person will occupy duo positions.”

He further urged the party members to stop the habit of occupying multiple political party, elective and appointive positions to enable others share in the spoils of political office. He enjoined party members to settle for a particular position.

Recall last dispensation many stakeholders occupied duo positions with monetary rewards across Kosofe Federal Constituency while several members of the party were in pennilessness.
