Nigeria: The Miracle of Being Alive by Wole Arisekola

Being alive today is nothing short of God’s overwhelming, never-ending, and reckless love for us in this country.

During this Covid-19 pandemic, our doctors are on strike!

The bandits and criminals are everywhere, wreaking havoc on a daily basis, with an uncountable number of mass abductions and horrendous killings across the country.

What a time to be alive in Nigeria! When the life of a Nigerian is not worth any effort of those saddled with the responsibility of protecting? The indices are too glaring, scary.

The frustration is everywhere. Only the big men and women in power can boast of three square meals.

The first time that the ‘evil’ servants will be richer than businessmen; courtesy of bribery and corruption.

I bought 30,000 United States dollars six months ago with N10 Million Naira but today my Ten million Naira can only buy me $19,000.
Just in six months oo.

The man that is saddled with the responsibility of regulating the same industry was recently on a vacation abroad to celebrate his birthday.

Is that not a confirmation that Nigerians need a government?

Anyway, Thank you, Lord, for the gift of life, family and friends!
