The 2019 candidate of Providence People’s Congress (PPC) for Kosofe Constituency 1, Wilkey Abiodun Francis has declined comment over 2023 general election.

Mr. Cardinal better known as Wilkey is one of the opposition parties candidates that had impressive outing in the last election.
As a good sportsmanship after losing the election to the candidate of All Progressives Congress, Sanni Okanlawon he congratulated him, and equally slammed the Independent National Electoral Commission.
“Congratulations goes to all those who emerged winners at all levels of the fraudulent election conducted by the never to be trusted umpire The Independent National Electoral Commission, I wish them all the very best, as we hopefully look forward to qualitative representation and inclusive participation in the coming days,” Wilkey statement then reads.
WAF who seems tobe the only face of the opposition since Moyo Ogunlewe decamped to APC and later emerged As Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government has maintained a low profile since the last election.
He declined comment when asked about his preparation geared towards the less than two years poll. However, sources around him said he might give it a trial again.
