CPN to hold 2 days Child Protection Capacity Training in Kosofe

The Child Protection Network (CPN) to hold 2 days Child Protection Capacity Training on Child Abuse and other related matters in Kosofe.

The Lagos State General Secretary of CPN and Kosofe Coordinator of the Group, Mr. Rasheed Awofeso disclosed to the Kosofe Post during phone conversation on Wednesday.

He stressed further that workshop is to offer critical capacity training to Community gatekeepers on Child Protection matters geared towards curbing menace of hourly abuse of children in the community.

He added” The Rule of Law and Anti Corruption ( ROLAC) is an independent body sponsoring step down trainings in 5 Local Governments within the State of which Kosofe was chosen”.

The Rule of Law and Anti-corruption programme funded by the European Union and managed by the British Council.

The workshop is scheduled to hold on September 22nd and 23rd at Kosofe Local Government Hall along Ogudu area of Lagos.

Recall Kosofe Post earlier reported that the immediate past Kosofe Local Government, Hon. Afolabi Sofola approved space for the group to build an Administrative office around Ogudu roundabout. However, lack of funds has been the major challenge affecting the small building construction.
