Ex- Vice Chairman, Mikhail Adisa allegedly arrested over sales of official car in Ikosi Isheri Lcda

Ex- Vice Chairman of Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area, Mikhail Adisa has been allegedly arrested over sales of official car yesterday.

The gun wielding Nigeria Police Officers stormed his residence on Wednesday to effect his arrest on the behest of the Council Chairman, Mrs. Samiat Bada over his failure to return the official car.

According to the procurement letter sighted by Kosofe Post Adisa controversial Official car was procured by Ikosi Isheri LCDA in 2019 at the rate of N30Million while the original market price was said to be about N9.5Million then.

Another source hinted that the inflated Adisa’s official car excesses was used to buy car for a top management staff of the Council and the council Chairman relatives.

As tradition after every dispensation political appointees and other management staffs car are boarded. However, Honourable Adisa’s official boarded was at N15million.

According to Kosofe Post findings, Adisa sold his car around N7Million following his unpaid severance package, he was expected to return the official car after his tenure or paid the car boarded amount his refusal to complied with the council requests triggered his arrest.

The messages sent to Mr. Adisa and Ayo Idowu Chief Press Secretary to IKosi Isheri Local Council Development Area was yet to be replied over the developments.

Notable politicians who privately
reacted to the development said the matter has been resolved politically out of the police station.
