Davido hundred million naira challenge

Share the news

Davido seem to have ignited a new trend by requesting atleast million bucks from his fans, specifically those that have benefited from his generosity or affected by his music.

That is a very audacious request considering a larger percentage of his fan base are youths under thirty who are mostly financially vulnerable.

LGNA practically have to beg institutions and individuals to nominate and sponsor young people to her LDV seminars which provides opportunities for participants to be better equipped to excel.

There are also, so many other needs in communities that people could donate to for greater impact rather than help a young man clear his Rolls at the ports.

Aside the morality issue , Davido just made an important point. If you help people rise, even though you have billions of naira, beneficiaries will add more or bend backwards to show gratitude.

I dare other mucisians to join the Davido challenge. They may be thouroughly disappionted by the response.

Davido is a great mucisian no doubt but he is not the greatest or most popular.

However no Mucisian his age bracket have the reputation of “we rise by lifting others’.

David from what i have heard is crazy in giving monies and creating oppurtunities for new artists to grow and put smile on the faces of people.

Some of those that donated a million naira may have other pressing needs but his public request took priority.

That is the power of impacting lives!

Is it not laughable to see individuals whose only pedigree is taking, grabbing and living in their own world now throwing accounts in public space demanding same loyalty. From who?

Whose life have you impacted? How many people aside your children or relatives have you created oppurtunities for?

Who do you think will go out of his or her way for you? It may not even be a money challenge. Who will create time or comnection for you?

So here is this 29 year old that has taught a lesson some seventy year old men have failed woefully to comprehend.

We indeed ‘rise by lifting others’. Its never too late to learn even from a kid.

Congratulations Davido.
