LABHCA: Adeniran, Adelaja gives manifestoes as LAHBCA announced December 9 as the election date

Lagos State Barbers, Hairdressers, and Cosmetologist Association Presidential contestants give manifestoes as the Association announced December 9 for its Presidential Election.
This was disclosed last week during the monthly general Assembly held at Mopol 20, Ikeja, Lagos.
According to the election guidelines, Five (5) delegates from each zona across the state will participate in the Election. The programme master of Ceremony Sholly Alayo, Said,” 5 members from each zone comprising the regional leader, zonal Heads and the contestants are delegates that will be eligible to vote.”
“Voting is by ticking off your preferred candidate’s name on the ballot papers and members of the Electoral will not vote to participate in the Election, no room for rigging.”


The contestants for the Presidential position alongside their running mates explained their plans to distinguished members of LABHCA at the Assembly. Rasaq Adeniran the initiator of Wellspring Cooperative society of Nigeria vying for the position of the Association President alongside his running mate, Oluwatoyin Adelaja explained in practical terms that attested majority of member of the Association also shared his well detailed Social contract at the general Assembly.


He said LAHBCA members have benefited over 4Million assured the cooperative will be strengthened to empower more members.
Rasaq who had organized different series of programmes and controlled several Millions of naira impacting on its members lives said he will organise a welfare package called Business Development Scheme to provide more economic power to LAHBCA members when elected.
He pledge to move the Association from analog state to digital by ensuring that the monthly entertaining competition participants are promoted, exhibition and display of talents are showcased on the Association dynamic and responsive website to be unveiled when he assumed office.
In his words, he said, ” Our website which has been kept lying low will be brought out to begining to operate at the highest level to promote these people.” His statement attracted ears deafening applause from the members.


“Structurally LABHCA has been developed, blessed, talents wise we are blessed but let me tell you one thing that we need a leader whose interest is of membership-oriented one. I am a member-oriented person right from my routes if I am given the power to rule this Association you will see a change within 6 months.”
“I have said it in my manifestoes if I failed to deliver within one year in office I will resign,” Adeniran pledges.
He assured the zonal heads that their sacrifice to the Association will be rewarded through a platform designed when assumed office.
His running mate Oluwatoyin Adelaja better known as Toyas from Kosofe region buttressed Adeniran’s said he is a attested and trusted leader that can bring transformation members has seeking for.


Toyas who has empowered Several members of the Association in her zone promised to do more when voted into office. “If I can do that at a lower level if given the mandate I will perform better if I am elected as Vice President of LABHCA.”
