Yuletide: Lascopa warns residents against fake products, urges public to report to the agency

The General Manager of Lagos State Consumption Protection Agency, LASCOPA, Mr. Solebo Fola has warned residents on fake products during festive period while urging Residents to report counterfeit consumables to the agency.

LASCOPA made the call during the LGNA 12 years anniversary event held in Lagos recently.

“Beware of fake products and watch out for what you buy. Peradventure you found expire products anywhere, contact us.”

He commended Governor Babajide Sanwoolu for the THEMES Agenda as related to Lagos State Consumption Protection Agency on Education in making Lagos State 21st Century Economy if the citizenry are not in good health.

Solebo’s who has been leading a sensitization awareness campaign across the state enjoined Local Government Chairmen, Council Managers, Health officers, among others to bring LASCOPA closer to the people as he charged them that they are the people that need them the most.

He noted some people without due diligence buy drink and gulped, and landed in the hospital.

While sensitizing the public on the need to ensure that they carry out last minute risk assessment on consumables, he urged them to be careful on what they buy.
