The Executive Chairman of Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area, Mayoress Samiat Bada has calledthe attention of Isheri residents to land grabbers in the community. She sternly warn them to be mindful of those who are selling government lands in the community.
This was contained in the Public warning she personally issued on Sunday in Lagos.
Mayoress Samiat urged prospective buyers to verify all lands with Local and state government agencies in order not to fall victim to land grabbers.
It’s common practicethat land grabbers usually ignore compensations paid to their fathers and still deliberately encroach on gazette government acquisitions, fraudulently selling same land to multiple buyers.
She explained that Lagos state government is not selling any portion of land within the Isheri Nursery and primary school, Isheri-oke Lagos state.
She warned that Lagos State Government will not take it lightly or allow the repetition of the salesby land grabbers of Isheri Secondary school land a few years back.
The council Chairman further warned all intending buyers and land grabbers to be vigilant and beware that the state government will not hesitate to prosecute anybody found encroaching on Government lands.
