Yetunde Arobieke’s supporters wore her branded T-shirts and face caps and displayed banners around the square with an inscription that reads: “Yaro for change, Yaro for the masses, Abuja straight 2023.”
It’s unclear whether she has resigned from her current political position.
According to the details of the new electoral act, she was expected to have resigned on March 2, 2022.
The pioneer, Agboyi Ketu LCDA Chairman, Arobieke, if she is not affected by the new electoral laws’ technicalities, will be slugging it out with the incumbent lawmaker, Honourable Rotimi Agunsoye, and others who have submitted their letter of intent for the Kosofe Federal Constituency seat.
