Mr. Hakeem Balogun and Mr. Francis Adebayo, among others, have picked the People’s Democratic Party, PDP Nomination and Expression of Interest forms for the Kosofe Constituency 2 area of Lagos State for the forthcoming General Elections.
Other contestants who have also picked up forms include the party chairmanship candidate for Agboyi Ketu Local Council Development Area in 2017, Mr. Donald Tambi, and one other person.

Unlike in the previous elections, where the party fielded a candidate from Kosofe Constituency 1 to stand as the party flagbearer in Kosofe Constituency 2, no members in the largest and most affected constituency were unwilling to run.
However, with the unfolding developments of having about four aspirants picking the party nomination and expression of interest forms, it appears the party is a little bit prepared for the 2023 General Elections.
Meanwhile, about two contestants have equally purchased nomination and expression of interest forms under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party for Kosofe Constituency 1, Lagos State House of Assembly race.
