Ogbara resigns; step up consultations for Kosofe Federal Constituency seat

A member of the Lagos State Audit Board Commission, the Honourable Kafilat Ogbara, resigned to step up consultation for the Kosofe Federal Constituency seat.

Kafilat, who doubles as the National Secretary Secretary of South West Agenda (SWAGA), a pro-Tinubu group behind the recent successful tour of traditional leaders and stakeholders in the south in compliance with the amended Electoral Act, tendered his resignation during the week.

The first attempt at the Kosofe Federal Constituency seat in 2007 under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party was not successful.

She, however, moved to the All Progressives Congress shortly after the 2015 general elections.
 
Ever since she joined the Progressives in Kosofe alongside thousands of her supporters to deplete the strength of the PDP, she has equally played different significant roles locally and nationwide for her party.
