The Executive Chairman, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Mayor Dele Oshinowo today received the new Area Commander, ‘H’ Division, Kosofe, ACP Sanusi Mohammed.
The council mayor promised to provide the needed support for the new police chief to succeed in his new task.
It would be recalled that the present administration recently donated two patrol vehicles to the two police divisions in the LCDA, Owode-Onirin and Alapere Police Divisions.
Mayor Dele Oshinowo further assured him of the maximum cooperation of residents of the LCDA in supporting him to provide effective policing of the locality.
Speaking earlier, the new Area Commander said he will run a people’s police that will allow for a free flow of information to be at his doortsteps for the safety of lives and property.
Enthusing further, ACP Mohammed warned criminal elements in the locality to desist or be ready to face the full wrath of the law.
Also present at the event was the Special Adviser to the Chairman on Protocol and Security, Hon. Moshood Fashanu.
