The primary election conducted to elect the PDP candidate for the Kosofe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives has been cancelled by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party with a rerun ordered for the poll.
A statement issued by the National
Publicity Secretary of the party, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, on Friday disclosed that a rerun has been scheduled for Monday, June 6, 2022 across 24 Federal Constituencies in Lagos, including Kosofe Federal Constituency.
The statement didn’t give reasons for the cancellation but referred to a decision of the Appeal Committee of the party which sat over a petition concerning the election which earlier declared Hon. Florence Adepegba as the winner.
