The Kosofe constituency 01 Lagos House of Assembly candidate of the APC for the 2023 election, Honourable Sanni Ganiu Babatunde received co-contestant managing director of Femost Homes, Gabriel Oluwafemi, on Thursday.
Those close to the Gabriel campaign earlier said that after the widely protested May APC primary election, he was not reached out to by the declared winner, Okanlawon.

This follows the conclusion of a series of meetings between the candidate and the hierarchy of the party on the issue.
According to the report, during a visit to Mende Maryland’s constituency office of the lawmaker Gabriel assured him of his unwavering loyalty and active support for his election campaign. He adds that he will collapse all his political structures for the re-election of Okanlawon.
The Kosofe Post gathered that Lanre Carew, who also contested the APC Assembly ticket before moving to the Social Democratic Party, the delegation was sent to CEO Farmcity International in the faraway United Arab Emirates after he emerged as the SDP candidate as he threatened APC Bloc votes in Kosofe.
