Former 2021 Chairmanship aspirant for Ikosi Isheri Lcda, Kosofe area of Lagos, Oromidayo Balogun, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, was appointed as Deputy Chief of Staff (DCofS) in Lagos.

The appointment was announced to him by the council’s Princess Samiat Bada-led administration during Oromidayo’s visit yesterday.
According to an insider source, Oromidayo Balogun was among staunch supporters of the Member of the House of Representatives representing Kosofe Federal Constituency, Hon. Rotimi Agunsoye, and was shortlisted for an appointment before he suddenly aligned with Samiat Bada.

The Babcock University political science graduate ran unsuccessfully for councillor in 2017 and for the Kosofe Constituency 2, Lagos State House of Assembly bye-election in 2020.
