NNPP Candidate Bakare Babajide Badejoko has confirmed that he will not be stepping down for any political parties in the upcoming Kosofe Constituency 2 House of Assembly Election.

In a press statement released on Monday, Badejoko addressed rumors of his supposed withdrawal from the race, calling out “mischief makers and jejune political lap dogs” who were attempting to sell themselves for personal gain.

The candidate made it clear that he will not be collapsing his structure for any entity, stating that he will not be swayed by any selfish pecuniary interests or gains.

He went on to appeal to his supporters and stakeholders to remain focused and continue campaigning vigorously, with their sights set on winning the upcoming election on Saturday, March 18, 2023.

Badejoko also warned against fraudulent individuals or groups attempting to impersonate or misrepresent his candidacy, promising that any such actions would be met with the harshest of penalties and damages in the court of law.

Come election day, Badejoko will be facing off against incumbent lawmaker Hon. Femi Saheed of the All Progressives Congress, Ibrahim Balogun of the People’s Democratic Party, and other opposition candidates. With his stance clear and his determination unwavering, it remains to be seen who will emerge victorious in this highly contested election.
