The Private Secretary to Oba Saheed Elegushi of Ikate-Elegushi area of Lagos, Otunba Temitope Oyefeso has joined other stakeholders in Kosofe to call for the re-election of Sanni Ganiu Okanlawon, the member of Lagos State House of Assembly representing Kosofe Constituency 1.
Oyefeso stated that the business of lawmaking requires people of sound judgment and experience in government to formulate laws that will bring development to the people.
He noted that Okanlawon, who has proven his worth as a lawmaker, has used his years of experience in government to build relatable connections that help in bringing development to various communities under his constituency.
The Private Secretary also praised Okanlawon’s performance in the Lagos State House of Assembly, stating that he has sponsored bills and motions that have helped in making Lagos a more prosperous city.
He encouraged residents of Anthony Village, Mende, Ojota, Ogudu, Ifako, and Oworonshoki to re-elect Okanlawon.
The first term lawmaker will face off against candidates from the People’s Democratic Party, Labour Party, and Social Democratic Party in the upcoming governorship polls on March 18th.
