The Chief Executive Officer of Eridan Space Co-working Hub, Mrs. Remi Odunsi-Oluwalogbon, has expressed her admiration for Sen. Adetokunbo Abiru, the distinguished lawmaker representing Lagos East Senatorial District, for the official launch of the SAIL Innovation Lab in Ikorodu.
During the inauguration of the facility in Ikorodu, Lagos, on Friday, Odunsi-Oluwalogbon, who is also the Founder of Remi Odunsi Organisation, commended Sen. Abiru for his continuous commitment to empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive. She highlighted that the senator, who currently chairs the Senate Committee on Industries, has always stressed the importance of teaching people “how to fish” rather than simply giving them fish.
The entrepreneur further emphasized that Sen. Abiru’s dedication to making a positive impact on society preceded his involvement in partisan politics. She acknowledged his genuine recognition of the blessings bestowed upon him by his creator and his decision to uplift and empower the youth and others, enabling them to overcome poverty.
Odunsi-Oluwalogbon praised Sen. Abiru’s unwavering commitment to the principle of “hard work is the antidote to poverty,” as famously expressed in the Yoruba poem from the late J.F. Odunjo Alawiye primer. She commended his focus on equipping individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary for self-sufficiency.
