Hon. Akinboro’s Birthday Bash: A Celebration of Leadership, Unity

Kosofe Federal Constituency was filled with joy and merriment as friends, family, associates, and prominent politicians gathered to celebrate the birthday of the renowned socialite, businessman, and politician, Hon. Jimmy Akinboro. The extravagant event, held at Akinboro’s beautifully adorned residence on Akinboro Street, Agiliti, Kosofe, was a sight to behold, with guests donning the traditional “Aso Ebi” attire, caps, and headgear.

Hon. Akinboro, who turned a year older on July 3, expressed his gratitude to Almighty God for the gift of life and extended his appreciation to all the dignitaries who graced the occasion with their presence. The celebrant’s aged mother, Madam Akinboro, also joined the celebration and conveyed her deep gratitude to everyone in attendance.

The event was marked by warm tributes and accolades showered upon Hon. Akinboro by distinguished guests. Regarded as an exemplary leader, philosopher, and humanitarian, he was hailed as someone who possesses the qualities to make a significant impact when entrusted with public office.

Hon. Kayode Olaegbe, affectionately known as Kay Dollar, Kay Euro, Kay Pounds, and Kay Money paid tribute to the celebrant, emphasizing his influential role as a senior colleague and leader. “Prince Akinboro is my senior colleague and my leader. There is no doubt about it—I doff my hat for him. He is a big personality,” stated Hon. Olaegbe. He further expressed confidence in Hon. Akinboro’s ability to effect positive change in Isheri and Kosofe, while extending prayers for his long life, good health, and prosperity.

Mrs. Omowunmi Okewunmi-Fasakin, a guest from Magodo, IKOSI Isheri LCDA, described Hon. Jimmy Akinboro as a leader with a large heart and a keen sense of fashion. She commended his inclusivity and generosity, expressing her admiration for his selfless nature. Mrs. Okewunmi-Fasakin prayed for his continued success and the prosperity of his children.

The guest list included prominent figures such as Hon. Seyi Odufowokan, Chairman of Ikosi Isheri LCDA APC LGA; Elder Samuel Omowo, an APC Chieftain; Hon.
