Kosofe Local Government Chairman Unveils Free Shuttle Service, Official Cars

In a compassionate response to the nationwide removal of fuel subsidies, Hon. Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe, the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, has launched a lifeline for residents. A fleet of luxurious buses is set to hit the roads, providing free shuttle services to fortunate residents across Kosofe.

These buses, which will serve vital areas such as Ojota, Ogudu, Oworonshoki, Maryland, and Mende, aim to alleviate the burdensome impact of the fuel subsidy removal on the community. Hon. Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe’s thoughtful initiative seeks to provide comfort and convenience during these challenging times.

Speaking on the occasion, Hon. Ogunlewe emphasized the importance of standing together as a community in times of adversity. He stated, “Our goal is to offer relief to the good people of Kosofe, especially during this difficult period. These buses are a symbol of our commitment to ensuring that residents can continue their daily activities without added financial strain.”

Moreover, in a recent low-key ceremony, Hon. Ogunlewe presented official cars to the Executive Members of the Council. The cabinet members expressed their deep appreciation for this gesture, acknowledging that these Toyota Saloon cars will enhance their ability to function optimally in their respective roles.
