Kosofe Local Government education authority, under the leadership of Babatunde Shoneye, organized its annual Christmas carol celebration at the Lasubeb Hall in Maryland. The event, a summit of the academic year, saw teachers, pupils, parents, and well-wishers come together for a joyous occasion.

Various participating schools contributed to the festive atmosphere with soul-stirring music renditions, expressing gratitude to the Almighty for a successful academic year. The celebration took a cultural turn with vibrant performances and choreography, adding an extra layer of joy to the day.

Addressing the gathering, Babatunde Shoneye, the Education Secretary of Kosofe LGEA, emphasized the significance of Christmas as a symbol of God’s love for the world. He urged everyone to embrace the spirit of giving, especially to the less privileged, while advising students to steer clear of social vices that could jeopardize their futures.
