Former Senior Legislative Aide to the House of Representatives Speaker, Olusegun Apena, has clarified that he is not interested in the vacant position of Kosofe Chief Press Secretary. Apena made this statement following a viral story on the suitability of his candidacy.

Speaking exclusively to Kosofe Post on Tuesday, Apena expressed gratitude to several colleagues, fans, supporters, and well-wishers who had tipped him for the position. However, he did not disclose the reasons behind his decision to decline the opportunity.

The Kosofe Local Government Chief Press Secretary position recently became vacant due to the untimely death of the former CPS, Taiwo Fadipe. The council is organizing a special tribute and prayer service this afternoon in honor of the late Chief Press Secretary.
