The Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mayor Dele Oshinowo, delivered a crucial message to real estate practitioners, emphasizing the importance of following established frameworks to prevent financial disasters in their businesses.
Mayor Dele Oshinowo conveyed this directive at the fourth Lagos Real Estate Market Place Conference and Exhibitions held at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. During a panel session, he urged realtors in the state to draw inspiration from his administration’s practices in adhering to the right procedures.
Highlighting the success of housing projects executed under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) arrangement, Mayor Oshinowo stressed that thorough scrutiny and monitoring by relevant government agencies were integral to their success.
He affirmed the need for enhanced enforcement and advocacy in the real estate sector while expressing confidence that following the guidelines developed by the Lagos State Government would eliminate negative stories from the housing sector.
